Central Wisconsin Search and Rescue will respond 24 hours per day, 365 days a year when requested by public safety agency (police, sheriff, fire or emergency management) or as mutual aid when requested by a bona fide SAR team.

CWISAR

Central Wisconsin Search and Rescue Inc. (CWISAR) is a not for profit (501(c)3) team of professional rescuers who utilize trained search dogs to locate lost/missing people. CWISAR searches for lost/missing people in urban and wilderness environments such as lost hikers, hunters, missing children and Alzheimer patients. CWISAR also conducts cadaver searches on land, water, ice and in burned structures. We can also assist with disaster searches such as after a tornado or building collapse.

CWISAR responds 24 hours a day when requested by a public safety agency and we DO NOT CHARGE for our service. CWISAR will respond anywhere in Wisconsin and will assist in out of state searches when requested by another search organization.
